It was very strange at 6am this morning outside all was calm and i mean calm……The air felt strange, there was no wind and it was dry, but looking into the sky things were a bit different……….. dark clouds in the distance………..
The Calm before the storm…….
By 6.45 it had changed again and the wind was starting to blow…….., by 7.30, well the day darkened, the wind was howling and it started to rain…………….
The wind has howled all day, gusts of about 70mph and the heavens have opened……. i got soaked at one point. I don’t like the high winds, i was scared on the drive home, we were behind a wagon that was swaying about, and passed a wagon opening his sheet so the wind blew through his empty wagon, he was standing on the side of the motorway tying the sheet…. silly place, he could have got blown into the road…… that would have been nasty 
i am worried that damage is done……… will my chimney be okay……… it’s so high i worry every time it is high winds incase it is blown down…….the chimney needs to come down or be reduced in size, but i wouldn’t like it to fall down and do damage.
I am now sitting at home in the warm listening to the wind howl outside, i can hear it’s raining too. But i am all snug and warm beside my coal fire
I can toast my feet and feel all warm.
I awoke with the sparrows this morning, it wasn’t a bad morning, it was fairly light at 6.20 when i drove down the road. I don’t mind getting up early when it is light mornings, i don’t like the dark winter mornings…….yuk!
Had to go on a home visit this morning and it was quite a nice drive with the sun blaring in through the car window it felt quite warm. I drove out into the country and it was nice to see the animals running about in fields, the sun shining on their backs…..
I had ordered a CD from play.co amd it arrived today
I had ordered this for hubby, but he had bought himself the CD last weekend, so i now have a CD i don’t want
Whisky my yard cat was miaowing at me this morning when i opened my hay shed door. Yay!!!!!
He wasn’t limping, he jumped up onto his table for his breakfast!!! He must have been licking his wounds last night me thinks……..
He kept his distance from the stable door this morning, i think he must have learnt his lesson and glowered at me from a bale of hay lol!!
It looks nice outside there today…… it was very windy this morning at 6am. I nearly got blown away.
The sky is darkening though so i think that we are about to get a shower of rain…yuk!
I am sat at work on my lunch break…… well not that i get a lunch break really as it’s a sandwich at the desk, a working lunch some people would call it. I’m getting ready for a busy afternoon…………
The weather was fantastic this morning……… then this afternoon it turned nasty, the wind got up, the rain lashed against the window and boy was i glad that i was inside ……….
But my horses were outside in the field, which meant that when i finished work i would have to bring them in and get wet! Yuk!!!
Just as i was thinking about this i got a neigh on my mobile, which meant i had a text message, my friend had brought my horses in, yipeee…….
Anyways i went to my stable after work as i had my horses to sort out even though they were in the stable. I was in my mares stable and went to get out, when i heard this awful miaow…….. Whisky my yard cat, was behind the stable door and as i pushed the door i caught his leg, he went scurrying off on 3 legs, he ran away from me
I had hurt him and i feel so bad about that, i wouldnt hurt him on purpose. I tried to find him, i couldn’t, i needed to see if he was okay, but he had ran away ……….
I hope he is okay
Hey, i’m lazy today lol. I was up with the sparrows at 7.30am and went out for an hour. When i came back i went back to bed, omg……. that’s almost un known for me lol……………
Anyways it’s now noon and i’m still sat in my pj’s……. i think i need to get going lol
